The Tiziano Terzani archive held at the Giorgio Cini Foundation is online. The archive restores a previously unpublished portrait of the well-known journalist who died in 2004, starting with his personal documents and photographies.
After his death, first the personal library (2012) and then the archive (2014) were donated by the Terzani family to the Giorgio Cini Onlus Foundation and preserved by the Foundation’s Center of Comparative Civilization and Spirituality Studies.
After an initial phase of archival reorganization and description, the ARCHiVe Center digitized the entire collection of photographic positives, which numbers about 8,600 photographs taken by Terzani during his travels.
Thanks to the work of the Center Comparative Civilization and Spirituality Studies jointly with the ARCHiVe Center, it is now possible to browse the archive and consult digitizations of photographs and other particularly relevant source material.
