Valerio Terraroli, a Professor at the University of Verona and one of the leading scholars of the work of the brilliant and visionary architect from Lombardy, recounts the special relationship between Tomaso Buzzi and Vittorio Cini. In particular, he focuses on his work on the villa at Montericco, the Galleria di Palazzo Cini in Venice and another illustrious historic residence owned by Cini: the monumental complex of Monselice Castle and Villa Duodo Balbi Valier, whose original ‘thoughts’, plans and sketches
are housed in the archive of the Institute of Art History.
