To coincide with the Feast of Our Lady of Health and the National Tree Day, the Giorgio Cini Foundation will allow visitors to admire a ginkgo plant which was donated by M9 – Museo del ’900, at the end of the exhibition Foresta M9. Un paesaggio di idee, comunità e futuro. (‘Forest M9. A Landscape of Ideas, Community and Future’). The sapling was originally donated by Green Legacy Hiroshima, the association founded to safeguard and spread the seeds and trees that survived the atomic bomb in Hiroshima around the world as a symbol and testimony of peace.
