The Georg Solti Accademia is thrilled to be returning to Venice to host its Solti-Peretti Repetiteur Course in collaboration with the Fondazione Giorgio Cini from April 6 to April 14, 2023. Now in its 19th year, the Georg Solti Accademia is dedicated to providing outstanding mentorship and education to the best early-career opera singers and repetiteurs. The Accademia offers all of its training at no cost to the students – helping it to ensure that it can offer high-quality training to the most deserving young musicians it can find worldwide, not just to young musicians that can afford to pay.

The Repetiteur Course offers six repetiteurs the chance to study with some of the best conductors, vocal coaches, and repetiteurs in the world. The 2023 faculty includes: Jonathan Papp (GSA Artistic Director & Vocal Coach), Anthony Legge (English National Opera), James Vaughan (Teatro alla Scala Milan), and Rodrigo de Vera (Liceu Opera, Barcelona). Joining the six pianists on this course are six singers, all of whom are alumni of the Accademia’s summer course in Tuscany for opera singers. During this course, participants are mentored on the most critical skills of a repetiteur.
