There are numerous and varied opportunities for collaboration to share in the history and future of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The Foundation works alongside private institutions and businesses dedicated to fostering culture as a catalyst for sustainable growth.
Aligning with the Foundation’s mission means becoming part of a dynamic and international environment, a place devoted to the creation of cultural excellence, with a rich historical heritage and a strong commitment to the contemporary.

Private institutions and companies
They share the ideals and cultural values of the Foundation, agreeing to support its activities and operations; they may use the spaces of the Island for their own events, subject to availability and in alignment with the Foundation’s mission. They participate in governance by appointing a representative to the General Council, and their status is regulated directly by the General Council through a specific set of rules. They commit to supporting the Fondazione Giorgio Cini for a three-year period, contributing an annual amount of €500,000.
