The Salone degli Arazzi is the Foundation’s most spacious room with the largest capacity. Its 489 sq. m. can hold 500 people. Created from the rooms in the novitiate of the former Benedictine monastery at the entrance to the grounds, the grand Salone degli Arazzi is the setting for major events at the Foundation. It is decorated with a very fine series of large tapestries, made in Brussels from the 16th to the 18th century, depicting the life of Scipio, the months of the year, and hunting, landscape and animal
