On Wednesday 28 August at 7 p.m., Gianfranco de Bosio’s film Il Terrorista will be screened at the Cinema Astra on the Venice Lido. Together with the restored version of the film, the new volume dedicated to the film’s screenplay, edited by Prof. Maria Ida Biggi and Giuseppe Ghigi, will be presented.
The new publication, Il Terrorista, a film by Gianfranco de Bosio, reconstructs and recounts for the first time the complex work of drafting the film, which saw some of the most important theatre signatures of the time, including director Luigi Squarzina, involved in the various stages of writing and production. The volume is part of the celebrations and activities promoted by the De Bosio National Committee and the study of the materials was made possible following the recent donation by the heirs of the maestro’s archive at the Foundation’s Institute of Theatre and Opera.
