The History of Venice Library features a considerable catalogue of books and a collection of Italian and International specialised periodicals, many of which are unavailable elsewhere in the Veneto or Italy (more 120 titles supplement other resources in the city), dealing primarily with the history and culture of the territories that have fallen under the influence of Venetian civilisation.
The Library’s resources are reinforced by an important Microfilm Archives that complements the vast documentation of the Frari Archives. The Microfilm Archive features reproductions of various funds pertaining to Venetian history, complementary to other funds in the city of Venice: Venice State Archive, the Marciana Library and other local institutions.
