With more than 150,000 volumes, the Art History Library collection represents a crucial point of reference for Italian culture, featuring rare materials often impossible to find elsewhere.
The same is for several periodicals belonging to the Library, with over 800 titles, 200 of which are current. The core of the library is made of specialised collections, among which some that belonged to Giuseppe Fiocco, Rodolfo Gallo, Raymond van Marle, Antonio Muñoz, Achille Bertini Calosso. Another collection of peculiar importance results from the donation of notorious bibliophile Tammaro De Marinis, friend of Vittorio Cini and his advisor in creating the Ancient Fund now kept in the Treasure Room: a prestigious collection of texts on bibliography and bibliology.
